AMAZING LITTLE GIRL!!!
I am a very proud Mommy.
My amazing 5 year old daughter Amanda saw an episode of Extreme Makover Home Edition, and during this show they cut some people's hair and donated the hair to an organization called Locks of Love. Amanda was amazed by this, that by cutting your hair you could help another person who has no hair because of illness or cancer.

Amanda decided she wanted to do this too.
I was very hesitant, she has gorgeous hair. But she was determined and pestered me almost daily for over a month to let her get her hair cut short. So we finally went and she got her hair cut!!!
She looks so cute with her new hair cut, and I am so very proud of her! I hope she will always be a caring person that wants to make a difference in this world.
Check out her pictures on my picturetrail. Click the www below.

A very Proud Mommy
PS: I chopped my hair off too! I didn't have enough to donate, but I tried. It was only about 8".

Amazing, sweet little girl and mommy too!
Now she can grow it back again and donate again if she wants. Someone at the VA Conference was about to donate for the 4th time.
Unfortunately my hair is crap so I'd never been able to grow it long enough to donate.
You should be very, very proud!
Hug your sweetie for us, will ya?

I know this feeling. My 9 year old has done it twice. Once when she was 4 and once this past year. She has so much hair that they really can do alot with it. The first time she donated it she did 10 inches. The 2nd time was 15 inches. She is in the process of growing it back out again for another run. Mine is too thin I only wish.
Congrats on having a great daughter.
