5 Words I Will Learn to Dread
"Russell Stover Outlet Next Exit"
Seriously, we found one. OMG, the prices and all the SF stuff. Luckily we didn't do "too much" damage but just enough to be dangerous. I'm in SF candy avoidance mode right now.
We did get 4 bags of SF choco chips and they are in the freezer for future use in our magical peanut butter cookies. We love them that way.
Rich, I see, has gone after the SF vines (licorice). Last time he got into those he had "severe gastrointestinal distress" and deservedly so. Self-inflicted, of course, from eating too much of the stuff in one sitting. I came home tonight and he had the stuff in a ziplock bag on the counter for me to hide from him. It is called "rationing". Goof ball. I don't dig those - too high in carbs for me.
Anyway, I love the RS toffees. And the SF carmel eggs don't suck.
I may have one late tonight or will just have a SF-free day.

Those are truly scary words!! I remember once visiting VA and a Russell Stover outlet ... it'd be a dangerous place for me now.
I think, SF or not, candy is a thing I should never visit again. It was one of my biggest binge foods -- I always looked forward to marshmallow Peep season. When Halloween became marshmallow pumpkin season I was *really* in trouble
But Kathy, you can visit the candy store and give us updates anytime!!
I was in Wild Oats yesterday and saw that in the women's health and vitamin section was a bottle of very small dark chocolate bars -- intended for "health" of course (yeah right ...) The little devil whispering in my left ear had me actually pick up the bottle and look at sugar grams (6 gr). "OK!!" I sez ... "I could have one of these per day for my health". The little angel whispering in my right ear says "Yeah, right, you'll eat 15 of them and find out what dumping's all about ..." The angel won, BTW, I bought a box of Thai Coconut tea bags.
