No Interest in Food
I've had no interest in food since my surgery!!! Gives whole new meaning to the phrase "Don't Live To Eat, Eat To Live"
I just have to force myself to eat anyway. I hope this does get better with time. Most people I talk to have the opposite problem, they WANT to eat and get frustrated (and sick) from eatting too much. They tell me they love to trade problems with me.
Hugs,
Laurie
I eat by the clock and on a schedule, not based on hunger. Only on the weekends when the schedule is hard to keep since we are roaming around do I usually feel some hunger.
I really don't crave much. I am sometimes quite apathetic towards food but I still eat because I know I need to. I eat for fuel more than anything else.
We eat good food too. Rich is a great cook. Tasty stuff. The general lack of big interest is just where I'm at.
Rich is 18 months post-op and I think he feels hunger and more interest in food - certainly more than me. He is doing a great job maintaining his weight loss.

Jen,
No, I wish I had no interest in food! It just isn't gonna be for me I guess. I have to watch what and how much I eat, just like the days before WLS...kinda discouraging. I feel bummed today because I didn't lose any weight this week, but, I worked really hard at it. I need to have patience!
