Gym is open (Tuesday)
The conference is about 1.5 hours to the south of me in Richmond, VA. And no, it is probably not any warmer there.
We are just driving down Saturday morning and coming back Sunday afternoon. Should be fun. Alot of folks from up our way will be there and folks I've already met from down that area (we've had get togethers before) and other folks that I've only seen online. Should be fun. We have a formal dinner dance Saturday night!

I FINALLY went back to the gym today and like Laurie said - it was HARD! I've not been in 3 - count them THREE months. I did 15 minutes on the elliptical machine, 15 minutes on the bike and upper body strength training (tricep, bicep, chest press, pec fly, lateral raise, seated row, and some pulldown thingy) and I had to lower almost all of my weights from when I was going before and those that I didn't lower were SOOO hard! Definitely have to get into the habit again.
Good news, though, I'm down to 220 pounds from an all time high of 370 (or so), 340 when I started this journey, and 321 the a.m. of my surgery which means officially official I am a member of the century club - I've lost 100 since the surgery!!

Hi all, My husband and I are doing weights first and then cardio. I do at least 75 on a few upper body machines and 75 (counts) on my lower body. I do 60 counts of abd.work. We usually do 35min on the treadmill but today we did 30min on the ellipticill(sp)thingy! Yahoo! We usually do 15min on that and then another15 on the treadmill,my knees are still to weak to workout on that thing but I can do all the way this time. I can also run on the treadmill, were before I could barely walk on it. Praise God. We usually do these type of workouts everyday,6x a week,1hour and 45min everyday.
