OMG Shopping!

I have the day off for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the house to myself, so I decided to go shopping for work clothes... I tried on a few things just to orient myself to what size to be looking for. Do you know I bought slacks in 10s!!! I wound up buying SOOOO much - 2 pairs of slacks, a skirt, several sweaters, a few camisoles, 2 new bras (I only had one that fit), some thigh-highs and two fitted blazers. Everything was on sale, I was a mad-woman! I also bought a baby-doll tee: bright yellow with Micky Mouse on it and 1/4 sleeves... In a Junior's Lg! I've always wanted to be able to wear tees like that... I came home and tried everything on, mixing and matching, and just couldn't stop looking in the mirror... I used to be a size 24/26... I just can't believe it...

Becky, Isn't it a wonderful feeling to go shopping and be able to buy things right off the rack? I used to be a 26/28/30 and just bought my first pair of jeans in an 18 last weekend and am thrilled even though I still have a long way to goal. How very cool for you!!!!! I was 30/32 and am now in 18s or 16/18 bottoms and L tops and I even put on hubby's size 36 shorts last night!! Granted I had a serious wedgie and camel toe, but the fact that they were buttoned and zipped just blew me away!! I'm seriously starting to run out of clothes so I think it's time for a shopping spree for me, too!! Michelle
