Gym is OPEN! (Saturday - on Seven's behalf)

And of all people to post this... Rich and I just returned from our very first visit to the new gym. Very nice. Since we haven't been shown the equipment yet, we did cardio. Rich did the cycle and I did the treadmill. I did a total of 2.20 miles in 32 minutes. Some was warm up, some was cool down. Avg walking speed was 3.6-4.0 mph. But...I jogged/ran two segments of .5 mile and one of .3 mile towards the end of my workout. Tomorrow we each have an hour with a personal trainer to set up a training program and get shows the equipment! Took measurements this morning so we'd have a "baseline" before starting at the gym! Now Rich is making breakfast... scramble w/ ham and cheeses! Then off to get a Glamour Shot done (Rich's V day gift) and then home to watch some football (Go Skins!). Have a great and ACTIVE day! Well, I didn't get to the gym today and won't be able to cuz my babysitter (my 12-year-old) is gone to a weekend retreat with her church Jr. High group so we're at home with my 8-year-old. BUT...I tried on some lingerie earlier that was a little too small not too long ago and it fit absolutely beautifully. Hubby agreed - and I got in some cardio and stretching! Michelle

Thanks for opening the gym! I had a great time meeting people from OH. It would sure be great to get to meet my fellow Maysters! I shopped for about 6 hours at the Outlet Malls. Lots of walking. That is all for me on Saturday. Seven

50 minute mixed impact aerobics class, upper body weight lifting and ab work (Crunch's new "Ab Attack" DVD class - 1st time doing it and it gives you a good ab workout!)
