Gym is open (Wednesday)

I'm so tired, I don't even know what day it is!!!! I signed up for March of Dimes Walk America. Here it is a 5.5 mile walk. I decided to see how far I could walk today. I took off at a slow pace, I know I can go 2 miles at a moderate pace, so I figured if I took it slow I could go pretty far. I headed toward my husband's place of employment. I called him and told him to pick me up when he got off. One and a half hours and 3.28 miles later he picked me up. I really thought I would have gone farther, but I was dying. Whew. I have a LOT of work to do if I am going to finish the MOD walk in April! That is all I have done so far today. I still have my regular workout to do. I will post when I am done. Seven

I am done! I did my workout. Here is what I did: bench press front press dumbbell pullovers tricep extensions upright rows 1-arm dumbbell rows hip rolls crunches bridging hands via knee crunches seated knee tucks supermans standing rotation What have you guys done? Seven

Dragged my but out into the rain to get to Curves and did my circuits. Tomorrow back to water aerobics ...and if I feel especially full of virtue...go to Curves too. Feel glad to have done the work. The rain and chill make my joints achy so the ol' bod is trying to rebel against getting back in the groove. ;) but I'm not giving up. Mary

Good for you! In the end, your joints will appreciate the work (or so they tell me, mine aren't celebrating yet). What exercises do you do in your water aerobic class? Seven

Walking is great exercise. After it becomes routine, maybe you can add some strength training. Keep up the good work! Seven
