Good Morning All of My Fellow Mayers, It seems that after I finish exercising I am extremely hungry even if I eat prior to working out. I have tried drinking lots of water after working out but nothing seems to help. Does anyone else have this problem? If so what do you do about if anything? Thanks, Andrea

Hello andrea sometimes i do and I try and eat a protein bar. That usually helps. Especially being diabetic my blood surgers are getting low now. I have not taken medication since surgery but there are times that I am seeing myself as hypoglycemic as I was before I was diagnosed with diabetes. I hope this helps.

I would think that is quite normal Andrea. We are like cars in a way, run us around and we need some more fuel to continue to run. Just grab a nutritional snack and preferrably one that will stay with you for awhile. Nothing wrong with that in my book!!

Hi Andrea! Ive noticed the same thing. I usually eat breakfast, wait 30-45 minutes and exercise for about 30-40 minutes. Afterwards its like I didnt ever eat. I drink a protein shake (unjury choc with 8oz carb countdown milk) and it holds me for about another hour or hour and 1/2. Then I have a yogurt or something holding me for another hour or hour and 1/2. This has worked for me, they say the best time to drink a protein shake is after a workout or so they said at Curves. Yes. I have scheduled my exercise to occur before dinner. So, I have a meal to look forward to after working out. I know I would not be able to go a long time without something to eat after exercising.
