Wow moments
As we all know, losing weight is a trip, no matter how fast or slow we're doing it. Here are some recent, fun Wow Moments I'd like to share.
So I'm doin' my laundry yesterday ... thinking to meeself ... Wow!! -- I get a lot more laundry done in fewer loads. Silly, my clothes are much smaller now.
I knit socks (this activity keeps me off the front page). A recent pattern called for taking a measurement around my foot. According to the pattern I now have "narrow" feet! This is both good and bad -- bad because size 10 1/2 W shoes were hard enough to find (at least I could get by with 11's), now I have 10 1/2 N feet! Oh well, I now find it much easier to wear those hand-knit (read: thick) sock with shoes, and not just as house slippers.
Being your basic lazy slug
, I like to read while lying on the couch. Recently, my sweet cat Hazel has discovered what I call the 'snuggle spot', which is right up by my shoulder on the couch. She can get good pets there. Funny thing, that 'snuggle spot' didn't used to exist there.
Cheers,

Eileen,
Isn't it fun how we find "wow" moments where we might not have even expected them? I love that your cat now has a new snuggle spot. I'm sure she's enjoying your successful weight loss too! Hope you have success finding shoes in your new size, but I'm sure any challenges are still worth all of the wonderful benefits of your improved life!
Have a great day!

Eileen,
I love your Wow moments! Especially, the smaller clothes, means fewer loads one! I think that is great!
My cats (yes I have 9 of them) are taking a different look at the new me. Less of me means less room for them to snuggle on, so they are becoming more competitive on who gets the sweet spot...funny.
You are only 27 lbs from your goal! How cool is that! Congrats!

I've got to say, I have noticed that my laundry loads are smaller! And the space in my dresser is bigger. Isn't that great?! Such a funny thing.
I have gone from a size 12 shoe to an 11-1/2 - no such size, so I have been wearing thicker socks too! What are we going to do when the season's change??
