Excited!

Our delayed 1st wedding anniversary celebration is tonight! We are going into Washington DC tonight (only a 20 minute ride). We are headed out to nice restaurant. Hopefully we'll be smart and split a dish. LOL! Then we are going to the National Theatre to see Les Miz. Supposedly this is the "last" tour. I've seen it already probably 4-5 times... I saw it pre-Broadway when it opened here in Washington prior to it's NY debut and I saw it once in London on my 40th birthday (my ex-husband fell asleep). This is my favorite (obviously!) show. The music just takes me away...a story full of strive, overcoming odds, romance - who wouldn't love that. I got an email this morning from a gal at work who saw this production Friday night. Sounds like a fabulous cast. It was her 12th time seeing the show. Rich is a Les Miz virgin. This will be his first time. I cannot wait to share it with him. Oh, did I mention that we are sitting in the front row!! I got an advanced notice from Ticketmaster when the tickets were on pre-sale and I jumped on them. Also, picking a Sunday night it was easier to get great seats! I cannot wait! Plus there is the fact that we fit into theater seats so much nicer now! Actually Rich saw his first every Broadway show with me two years ago. We saw Chicago and then also an off-Broadway showing Cookin. It was very hard at the time sitting in those seats for both of us. Anyway, Rich i****ting the shower soon then it's my turn! Yippee! Kathy

Well Happy Delayed Anniversary to you Kathy! Sounds like you have a great evening planned at the theater!! My hubby loves that stuff (but doesn't dare tell his friends for fear they will take away his Man Card). Our 10th year anniversary is next year and we are going to New York. I can't wait to see a good show there and maybe we can get on Letterman or something!! Have a great night and share the meal!!! Ana

Thanks, Ana! We did share the meal... Shrimp ****tail (with 4 HUGE shrimp - size of my forefinger almost my thumb) Caesar Salad (which we didn't finish) Stuff Flounder (stuffed with crab Imperial), asparagus, carrots and rice (I ate one fork full of that) Coffee for dessert
