Talk about a slow-down!!

Jeez, louise! I've only lost 8 pounds since 11/17. I am trying to be brutally honest with myself about my eating habits and I know I've added in a lot of sf 'treats' such as pies, cookies, candy, etc. and I'm sure that has affected it. I also haven't been to the gym since the beginning of October except for once or twice in mid-Oct. I was getting in easily 90-120 grams/protein/day and now I am around the 60-70 gram range. I know all of these things combined have dramatically slowed things down, but I am surprised at how much it has slowed things down. I do know that I am still losing inches, though, because I am comfortably in size 18 jeans and have a pair of 16/18 flannel pj bottoms and my shirts are all large and the XLs are getting bigger. My husband hurt his shoulder (separated AC joint) just before T-giving and hasn't been able to go to the gym, he goes to the doctor next week, though, to see if he can go back. He's been chomping at the bit to get back so I know that will help me as well! Anyone else slowed down considerably lately? I ran into a girl from my support group today and she said at about 8-10 months she slowed to a snail's pace, too, so that made me feel better. Michelle 340/225/???

I don't weigh myself often, but I think I've only lost about 5-8 pounds since the beginning of November, but I totally blame myself. I'm kicking it up a notch and we'll see how that works out. Good luck and hang in there!

I haven't had a "BIG" weightloss month since August - "BIG" meaning more than 15 pounds in one month. But, I have averaged 10 pounds per month for October, November and December, so I honestly cannot complain. Don't worry too much about it, Michelle. It's normal that we are all slowing down considerably. My surgeon told me a couple of weeks ago that between months 9 and 12, he would expect me to lose 5 to 10 pounds total over that three month period. That's less than one pound per week. We might be slowing, but we are still losing and we will get to goal if we continue doing the right things.
