The Clapper

Our dog, Lady, ahem...bought Rich "The Clapper" for Christmas. Since Lady is about 3/4 deaf and will respond to loud claps she thought it would be a fun gift. Well, Rich loved it and he set it up today. He wasn't able to get it to work correctly because he wasn't pausing after clapping - he just kept clapping. Well, Lady was 2 rooms away and was barking at a dog outside and the light in the bedroom went out... Apparently "The Clapper" responds to many different loud noises...

If you move and make any noise that sounds repetitive the light either goes on or off. It's a riot. Rich gave me a mental image involving the meeting of flapping skin and I figure the lights will be going off and on light a strobe light... DOH!
