Alternative skin issues
I*'m glad you wrote this post, Kathy. I too have had lots of super dry, itchy skin on my inner thighs and behind my knees, on my breasts, ect. I have found that applying hydrocortisone cream 1% after bathing or showering helps sooo much with the itching. My hair is still falling out like crazy!! but it is not dry. Have you had your thyroid checked recently???

Hey Kathy,
Winter skin is always an issue here.... (Forced hot air furnace). Sometimes my calves look like I'm a soccer player because of the bruises. I scratch so hard that I break vessels under the surface. I've turned down the temp of my showers from "Scald" to "Luke", I also use an over the counter creme called "Eucerin". It works wonders, but you have to really work it in. With the amount of body surface, I only end up doing this once or twice a week, when I should do it after every shower. I've had my DH give me an all over rub down with the stuff (which is wonderful)... but He always wants me to reciprocate... which always makes me late for work .
I'm not close enough to goal to start looking at the trouble spots... I'm hoping that excersize will take up a lot of the slack. I'm lucky, in that, my weight was all over versus stomach and butt only.
Thanks for the "fish oil advice".... I'll look into it when my gag reflex stops kicking in.... eyuck....
