Shopping late at night...

Rich and I just returned from a 10 pm venture out to Best Buy, Target and Kohls. Nifty. Got a copy of The Creature from the Black Lagoon and a bronze purse for my friend Pat. This is going to be an interesting Christmas gift for her. LOL! I am combining elements of our years as friends including The Creature because she, my father and I were sitting at my house in the dark with 3D glasses on one nigh****ching the movie on TV and my mother came home from work with a "What in the hell is going on in here?" It was a riot. The bronze purse (which is apparently a big trend now) was a joke from our college days - we saw someone with one and teased about buying one for each other. That joke lasted a long time. Then I've got hot cocoa, Peppermint Schnapps and candy canes. For Christmas, she and I would make hot cocoa with the schnapps and stir with a candy cane. Talk about sugar overload. A fond memory. Then I have British tea. She and I went to England and Scotland together and we took snooty-tea-drinking-women pictures...each of us poised on a sofa with our pinkies raised in the air. Very funny at the time. Now if I could just find a bottle of Enjoli perfume - life would be grand. Pat does not wear makeup or perfume but her boyfriend in college (the gay guy - but that's another story) bought her what had to be a half gallon of the stuff. We laughed our arses off about that. No luck at any of the stores or CVS. I'm now on a mission to find it... I got a pair of dress slacks for myself at Kohls so there was something in this for me. Now it's midnight and time for bed!
