Hi Kathy! 1. Already did - had Christmas in Ohio this past Sunday. Will be going back to Ohio the Tuesday after Christmas for dinner with extended family-in-law... 2. Maybe.. a beer or two... Nothing really planned, though 3. Livvie's first real Christmas morning (she's old enough now that she's looking forward to Santa coming...) My son getting the drum set he's been begging for. 4. All the running around to prepare. We have Christmas at my dad's, 20 of us, and it's a HUGE spread. Unfortunately, he can't shop, so I have to do it. I've already ordered the fruit, veggie and meat trays but have a ton of grocery shopping left to do - plus, he's very picky... I also still have gifts to buy. 5. Grazing at my dad's house... Overspending...Do it every year... Both... 6. Honestly, I don't know. That hasn't been my strong point lately... It's so cold out, it's hard to motivate myself to walk and the gym is a distant memory these days... *** Hold on, gotta get the gingerbread cookies out of the oven. *** Okay, I'm back... 7. Already did - size 12 "little black dress" - I'll post a pic as soon as I get it back. 8. The drum set for Holden, the Dora Kitchen for Livvie 9. More clothes... 10. Opening one gift on Christmas Eve when I was a kid - it was always pjs. My mom being alive for Christmas... The year Santa brought me a little table and chairs set and a plastic tea set that looked like blue china (like in Little House on the Prairie).

1. Are you traveling for the holidays, staying local or staying home? Traveling! Head to NY Friday morning - oh, dark, hundred! 2. Will you be imbiding this holiday season? If so, what is your poison? I probably will not. Not much of a drinker to begin with. I'll really miss that Christmas Day Brandy Alexander though. It is made with ice cream so is obviously OUT since I dump. Ah, the memories... 3. What are you looking forward to the most this holiday season? I'll admit it. Getting lots of shocked looks and compliments. 4. What are you dreading the most this holiday season? The food. Being careful to make the right choices and not overdo. 5. What do you think will be the biggest challenge this holiday season? The food. Being careful to make the right choices and not overdo. 6. Will do you some exercise this holiday season? What is your poison? I haven't been exercising and hope to get into a good routine - finally - after the holidays. That being said... I probably won't do anything while I'm away unless by some chance the weather isn't frigid - then I'll walk. 7. What is the one outfit that you cannot wait to wear this holiday season? (May already have been worn if you had a party that you already attended.) My size 10 Bandolino Blu brushed denim brown pants and my gold top! 8. What is the favorite gift that you will be giving to someone this holiday season? Nothing really jumps out this year. I purchased things that I know folks will like but nothing that is a big wower. 9. Did you buy yourself something this holiday season? If so, what? Rich and I bought ourselves a Spot Bot mini-carpet cleaner. We need it with the puking dog. 10. What is your most favorite holiday memory? One Christmas we got done opening presents when my dad went into the back of the coat closet and came out with a box for me. My mother had no clue what it was. He bought it on his own. It was a JVC boom box of sorts. I had wanted one and he got it for me at the flea market (new). It was like my special gift from dad, ya know.

1. Are you traveling for the holidays, staying local or staying home? a. We are having a small ****tail party on Friday night (40 people) Saturday night is an hour drive to my Sisters house for her annual get together. Sunday is going to be quiet. Breakfast and presents in the morning with our immediate family plus two (one of my girlfriends who doesn't have close family and my son's friend Wade (he's Jewish and likes to adopt us for Christmas)). My DH has to work on Sunday 3-11 and 11-7 shifts. I have boxing day off to recooperate. 2. Will you be imbiding this holiday season? If so, what is your poison? a. I'll have a few drinks. Amaretto DiSarono is my poison of choice, but it's very high in sugar so I will probably stick to wine. 3. What are you looking forward to the most this holiday season? a. My son is going to college next year so I'm trying to make this year special. I bought my DH a new truck, so I'm looking forward to his reaction on Christmas morning. 4. What are you dreading the most this holiday season? a. I'm running out of time to Wrap presents. I guess I dread that the most.... 5. What do you think will be the biggest challenge this holiday season? a. Physically, (thank God), I'm feeling better than I have in years. I will be good about my food intake (my pouch wouldn't let me do otherwise), but I need to focus on the protein and water goals. 6. Will do you some exercise this holiday season? What is your poison? a. Other than my daily walk, I've been slacking... I promise to pick this back up after the holiday. I've got to start working on the abs and my "bat wings". We have a home gym so I have no excuse. 7. What is the one outfit that you cannot wait to wear this holiday season? (May already have been worn if you had a party that you already attended.) a. I have to go out and get an outfit for Friday night. I have requested "Festive Formal" for my guests, so no jeans for me... I'll wear the same outfit to my Sisters (my DH and kids will be the only ones who would know.) 8. What is the favorite gift that you will be giving to someone this holiday season? a. I gave the girls that work for me an early gift last week. They all love scratch lottery tickets. So I bought them all 5, $5 tickets each. One girl who is in really tight $$$ situation this year hit for $500. I thought "It couldn't have happened at a better time for her". It made me very happy. she was very excited. 9. Did you buy yourself something this holiday season? If so, what? a. I bought a NEW SCALE for my DH to give me. MINE CAN'T be functioning correctly because it hasn't moved in a month. 10. What is your most favorite holiday memory? a. That's a hard one.... Every memory is a treasure. All of them to date have been good, but I like to think that the best ones are yet to come. Happy Holidays to all... Kate Z
