I have lost 75 lbs so far. And on Dec 30th I have quit smoking for one whole year. Every year I say I will lose weight and quit smoking for the New Year. Now I have so I need a new resolution. I asled Santa for some real running shoes and have proposed that I will run a 5k by May 23rd, my 1 year anniversary date. How 'bout you? Any resolution plans yet?

I'm with you for the running a 5K. The one year anniversary date is a great goal. I"ll keep mine in mind. Way to go on the smoking!!!! I guess mine would be: 1. to keep my exercise habit intact. 2. to run not walk in a 5k 3. continue making the right choices when eating. I've never been one to make resolutions but I think I can stick to those.

I have some resolutions in mind. Probably like most at least one involves exercise. One involves spending habits...ouch! One involves setting priorities a bit better...like getting home and accomplishing something before hitting the ol' puter and gabbing. I've run a 5k and a 6k and a good part of a 10k before and would love to get back to running. I did said "races" while in the 220-230s. I was training to get to run a 10 miler (yikes!) but my knee decided that 5 miles was it's limit and I ended up slacking off the running. At this point, I think I'll stick with 5ks and then try to work on "time". Cool to just compete with yourself and the times you've had before. We'll see what else I can come up with! Kathy

Hello- I have given mine some thought, and so far... One this year is to pass all of my college courses the first go around. Two is to keep exercising (I'm taking some courses to help! ) Three is to not stress as much and give things to God. ~April~ Lap Rny May 13, 2005 21 yrs old, 5'1 231 / 147 / 120

My new year resolutions are to: 1. Keep up my 6 day a week exercise plan. I've done it very successfully now for 4 months, so why not? 2. Hopefully, by spring, I want to be fit enough to join the breast cancer survivors rowing team. 3. Start playing the guitar again. I have 4 guitars and haven't played in over 9 years!!! My New Years Resolution is to lose my last 22 pounds and maybe a couple more. Also to be the best Manager that Pizza Hut has ever known. And to be a better loving mama and wife!!
