Saw my father and sister yesterday!
They are headed up to NY...my sister back home and my dad up there for the holidays. Dad lives in Florida and just downsized homes. My sister drove down there mid-November to help him clean out the house that he and mom had (mom passed last Fall) and get moved and settled. Dad will fly back after Christmas.
I saw my sister and her hubby Labor Day so that was about 26 lbs about and Dad saw me in July I guess. They both had seen the recent picture that Rich and I had taken.
Boy, the expression on both of their faces when seeing me - that was worth major dinaro! I was called "skinny" many times over the course of the afternoon and evening. I wasn't told I was "too skinny" or anything. My father said that the changes in my face alone were so dramatic. And yes, I look so very much like mom when she was younger.
Dad said he never thought he'd see me wearing some of my sister's clothing - and size 12 jeans at that. And I look damn good in those jeans too. 
My sister has lost weight (so has my BIL too) - she is 5'4" and much smaller boned then I (I wear a size 12 shoe - she wears a 6 - we take after different sides of the family obviously) - she is down to a size 6 I think - she is about 140 lbs. She was up to a size 14/16 at points in her life, I think.
I thought their reactions were fabulous and made me feel great!
