Down Periscope and One of "Them"

Had the endoscopy yesterday, you were right, Kathy, nothing to it. Even the dreaded IV was pretty good, best stick I ever had! The doc found nothing but an irritated area which they did a biopsy on to check for that bacteria that causes ulcers. Won't know for 7-10 days, will call them back. All in all, not a bad way to get a day off of work, especially the last week of school before a holiday Here's something very interesting- my friends and not-as-close friends have been sharing my weight loss progress with me since the beginning. Most of them are of normal weight and have only struggled with 10 or 20 lbs. in their life times. Suddenly, when I share my progress, they will say things like "help me not to be jealous, God!" or "isn't it great to be able to see your bones?" or "doesn't it feel good to be able to wear your skinny jeans?" Suddenly I have been included in the "normal losers" club! I am becoming "ONE OF THEM" for the first time in my life! I even have some of them saying I should stop soon cause I'll look anorexic!! HAHAHA!! I do look smaller than I actually am, at 175 and size 16, no one believes me that I still have 30 lbs. to lose. Now isn't that the best Christmas present I could have ever given myself???
