Ashleigh update

I completely forgot to post this to Ash's favorite boards...oops! Here's her update! The only change is her pain has increased as the nerve block is wearing off. Again, I'm sorry- jason Ashleigh asked me to update you after her surgery, but I'm sorry it's taken so long! After her surgery and recovery room time, we came home to pack Andrew's thing for his very fun stay at his Mimi and Gaga's house! She is home, and luckily is no pain, due to the nerve block they gave her before surgery. Her arm is in a quite interesting contraption, and if I know Ashleigh , she will send you pictures of soon! Her surgery lasted about 1.5 hours, and was considered a complete success! Afterwards, the surgeon was unable to dislocate her shoulder at all, which has given us an enormous sense of hope for her recovery! Her doctor showed me pre-op and post-op pictures of the joint, and the difference was like night and day. One had no cartilage, and the post-op picture had plenty of cartilage that had been replaced. Ashleigh should be online again soon typing, reading and recovering! She wanted me to thank everyone of you for you thoughts and prayers! They have made a real difference in her life!
