Happy Saturday!
Whass up Maysters?
Rich and I got up early and went to Da Wall (Mart) for a few household items and me some stocking stuffers for him. Sent him out to the car while I made my pass around picking up a few things.
Then off to Kohls. Had a $20 certificate from some shopping last week. We got Rich's dad two shirts and a new wallet for Christmas. I got two sale tops...$5 and $6 respectively. A bargin, a bargin I tell you!
Next it was off to the vet to pick up antibiotics for the girly girl (dog) and then to drop her off at Colonel Combover's house (aka my ex-husband). She'll be there a week or two.
Then was lunch at a restaurant near the Colonel's house that he and I used to go to. Rich and I split mozerella sticks w/ marinara (didn't eat 'em all) and a large greek salad w/ grilled chicken. Left alot behind. One mutha of a salad, I tell ya. Love that feta! Cheese my fav food group!
Now we are at home doing a few things. Tonight is my office holiday party at one of the local Marriotts. We are going to stay overnight. We don't really drink anymore but it'll be nice to just "chill". Life has been too busy lately. Tomorrow is a very busy day. At 3 pm we have to pick up our new charges... two kitties that we are adopting. Princess and Penny. Siblings. Been a while since I've had a cat and Rich too. It'll be nice to have them around - I think they are about 1.5 years old. Lovely. Products of an ugly divorce. So early tomorrow we need to do some straightening and setting the litter box and stuff up for them.
That's our weekend! Enjoy yours!
Kathy
Hey Kathy,
I hope you had a blast at the holiday party. I am winding things down at work, then a co-worker and I are headed out to a local lounge for some girltalk. Today I did great at the mall. My favorite store...NYC&Company had a private sale til 1p, so I got a Leather jacket, 5 prs of undies, and a scarf for $48.99!!! The jacket alone was priced $129, marked down to $59...so I made out like a bandit. I saw a fellow WLS sister in the store, and we spent 5 minutes just gawking at each other, and exclaiming how fabulous each other looked. Salespeople looked at us like we were loco Ty spilled my tall peppermint mocha latte, lowfat no whipped all over the jeans fixture... of course he was all around, the salespeople were very gracious though, thank heavens.
Got my mom some pots from Macy's great deal Tools of the Trade 12 pc set for $59, with my 20% friends and family coupons, very cool. Ty had a slice of pizza for lunch, and I finished his yogurt smoothie, after a quick jaunt to the LEGO store, we were still home by 1, put some lights on the tree...and here I am
