Have to share two WOWs

Hi Maysters! I have to share two great experiences that occurred over Thanksgiving. 1) I took my daughter(7) and granddaughter(4) to the playground and my granddaughter suggested I swing with them. I've never tried due to the thought of embarassment that would occur when the swing broke! I checked the swing for a weight limit, found none. So I tried it. I had a ball and wasn't embarassed at all. My daughter was elated that I joined them in swinging! 2) Today I went shopping with my stepdaughter who is 25 and struggles with weight issues also. She's been very supportive of my WLS experience. She wanted some boots, but couldn't find any that would zip up over her calves. I saw some cute ones and thought I'd give them a try... guess what? They fit like a glove! I felt compelled to buy them and feel so good. I've never been able to wear boots that went all the way up your calf! WLS is so good!!! Have a great weekend! Love, Wanda

That's awesome, Wanda! I went swinging with my daughter a few weeks ago and felt like a little kid again! Now you'll have to find something sexy to go with those boots!

Excellent, excellent, Wanda! If they boot fits, you must commit (to buying them)! Was your stepdaughter upset that you found boots to fit and she didn't? Having gone shopping with thinner folks so many times in my life... actually we probably always have I always am thinking what it feels like on the other side, ya know? How about for Christmas buying her some really trendy cool ankle high boots? Hugs, Kathy

That is agreat idea Kathy, I know that Naturalizer makes some otheir boots with a wide calf. I mail ordered a pair a few years ago, they were still to small in the claf but I am loving them this year. I have also seen some that are all streatchy material. Julie

You guys are sweet to think of my stepdaughter and I failed to mention that she is the one *****ally encouraged me to buy them. I tried to take her somewhere else to keep looking for boots, but she decided that she wanted to get some other dress shoes and new tennis shoes instead. I totally agree with you guys that I've been disappointed many times when someone thinner could get something that I couldn't. Thanks for continuing to heighten my sensitivity! Hugs, Wanda

Two Wohoos for your two Wow moments Wanda!!!! Wahoo Wahoo!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you. While at my sis' this last week she gave me so many new clothes that she hadn't even worn yet. Also...the greatest thing was this beautiful black leather coat she gave me to wear....now I must find some black boots!!!!
