Well, Aaron just went out with "da boys" for a while. Holden went to his dad's for the night. Livvie's (finally) sleeping. Dogs are snoring, cat's laying here staring at me. I finally have the house to myself!!! Woohoo! It's been so hectic lately, I haven't had a minute to myself! I'm going to sit here for a while and enjoy the (relative) quiet - if you ignore the dogs snorting and snoring, that is - and then take a long hot shower (without hearing doors slam, kids scream and Aaron hollar) and then go watch something on TV I never get to watch when everyone else is home. YEEHAH!

Hope you had a few great hours to yourself and pampered yourself, Becky! Were you watching Striptease? Practicing for another type of dance routine? I'm just so baddddddddd.... Kathy

Actually, I wound up watching "Dog the Bounty Hunter"... Have you ever seen that? What a crazy (and somewhat worthless) show... What are you doing up so early?

Well, it's 7:30 here so not *that* early. Going to get showered and stop at Target before the masses. Need a few small Christmas gifts. Actually I don't know if I have EVER had this much shopping done before/Thanksgiving. Luckily gift cards were requested this year and form a nice base for my father and sister. But got Dad a few pairs of shorts he wanted (he lives in FL) and got sis a few sweaters at Macys (great sale the other day). BIL lost weight and is getting turtlenecks and sweaters (just ordered those online from Lands End and Nordstrom). Hubby is getting a variety of stuff and I MUST stop buying his stuff. Problem is that I see far too much stuff that he'd like or he needs! I do try to work within a budget...but that usually goes out the window. My one troublesome gift will be for a 10 year old boy that taught himself how to program in Visual Basic this summer. Can you say "geek"? He is a sweet young man but super intelligent. Always has been. Kathy

Wow! As if 10 year olds aren't hard enough as it is. That's the age they start out-growing most toys but aren't quite old enough for the 'pre-teen' drivel... I'm in that boat with Holden... They only ideas he's given me is the new X-Box (or whatever just came out this week) but I absolutely do not buy game systems for him. He gets enough Christmas money, if he wants it, he can buy it himself, a laptop (as if! ) and a bucket of little green plastic army guys...
