Thankfulness in a stressful time
Hi all, I posted this to the main board, but feel compelled to post here also.
I'm going through a particularly terrible stressful period at work these days. I work in IT, and am seeing my work slowly trickle away to third-world countries. It's very tough to deal with, because I have 2 high-tech college degrees that may shortly become useless in the American working world. I worked very hard to earn them and to get to the senior-level work that I do now.
But in all this I'm thankful for something. And this is the reason for this post. In the 7 months since my surgery I've developed different eating habits. I haven't been wanting to nosh all the time to push down these horrible feelings. I think WLS as a tool has been very effective that way.
Be thinking of me and all American workers who are losing their middle-class jobs. A Walmart salary doesn't pay a mortgage.
