Thankfulness in a stressful time

Hi all, I posted this to the main board, but feel compelled to post here also. I'm going through a particularly terrible stressful period at work these days. I work in IT, and am seeing my work slowly trickle away to third-world countries. It's very tough to deal with, because I have 2 high-tech college degrees that may shortly become useless in the American working world. I worked very hard to earn them and to get to the senior-level work that I do now. But in all this I'm thankful for something. And this is the reason for this post. In the 7 months since my surgery I've developed different eating habits. I haven't been wanting to nosh all the time to push down these horrible feelings. I think WLS as a tool has been very effective that way. Be thinking of me and all American workers who are losing their middle-class jobs. A Walmart salary doesn't pay a mortgage. Eileen

Eileen I also work in IT but it's a smaller venue so they aren't going to be outsourcing any work (I'm thankful). I'm sorry the stress has been high for you...I wish you all the best. Happy Thanksgiving. Sue McD
