Anniversary Gifts
I tell you...my family rocks! We got gift cards from my father and my sister and BIL from Dick's Sporting Goods for our wedding anniversary. Rich and I are so excited...after the holidays we are going to buy bicycles. We were going to buy them for each other for Christmas but when family asked about anniversary gifts...I threw it out there. Yea! We got enough to cover two nice bikes. We don't want anything fancy just bikes for nice leisurely rides.
Rich hasn't been on a bike in ages and for me it has probably been over 10 years easy since the great bicycle accident of 1993.
Let me just say in regards to myself and bikes: 1) I put the bike together myself - mistake one, 2) they say you never forget how to ride - I didn't forget how to ride - I forgot how to break, 3) Can you say broken tailbone. That sucker hurt for months.
But I'll be more careful this time. Rich'll see to that.
I think this is an awesome anniversary gift. It does something for Rich and I as a couple and for our continued good health!

p.s. Rich gave me an ankle bracelet that has hanging hearts on it and I gave him small-wide gold hoop earrings (Argh, matey!)
