Guess What I Did Today!

Okay, so yesterday, I alluded that I was doing something today and would tell you about it later... It's later, and it's done, and I want to share! Okay, if you're squeamish, you may want to think about backing out of this post. Consider yourself warned... I got my nipples pierced! I had them pierced before, but when my daughter was born premature, I took them out because we were having so many problems nursing, and then never got around to putting them back before they grew shut. So, last night, I was thinking, ya know, I'm like ONE POUND from the Century Club. I should reward myself. Of couse, Aaron didn't mind....

It won't be 'titgiving' in this house for a couple of weeks! I told Aaron under no cir****tances is to even THINK about touching! I'm thrilled! I know it sounds weird, but it's just one of those things I've always enjoyed. I've had lots of piercings over the years and a couple of tats. With my work, most of my 'body decoration' has to be easily concealed...

You are hilarious! I also think you are a very brave lady!! Just don't tell me you have your bellybutton pierced because I have a bellybutton fobia!!! Have a great Thanksgiving Becky!!

Nope, no belly button. I've always been too self-conscious of my belly, even now, it's pretty droopy and sharpei-like...

Uh...uh oh... Even being a guy, I can relate to the PAIN that would cause! OUCH! Sounds like you gave yourself a good reward though, which is cool. A year ago, it would probably have been food, no? Good job! But keep those piercing jabbers away from my man-nipples!

I rewarded myself at my century mark, too! I got a tattoo (my 4th one). It's the Greek letters Alpha and Omega with the Greek word for "STRENGTH" written across it. It's still healing (I got it 2-1/2 weeks ago) but when it gets all healed and pretty looking I'll post a pic of it! Michelle

EXCELLENT! (I think...) I don't think that is anything I would do for myself but if it makes you happy, then I'm happy for you! I'm glad that you are treating yourself to something to celebrate all your accomplishments. I bought Rich a new tat when he reached goal. He got a tribal band that has a Ankh embedded in it on his forearm (he already had barbed wire with a peace sign embedded in it on the other forearm). Ankh means Life. I have visions of Rich and I getting matching tats on our respective shoulders. I have one in mind that I haven't seen. I want to get two overlapping dream catchers. One to represent his dreams, one mind and the overlapping part to signify our dreams together. A gal he went to high school with did his last tat so I probably should have her design this one for us. She was a graphic artist who go discouraged when everything went computer so she became a tat artist. Titsgiving...OMG. Congratulations on your new... your new... ummm... earrings for the girls. Hugs, Kathy
