Pre-Holiday Roll Call: Maysters Check In

Today I'm dubbing old cassettes to CD -- a time-consuming process. I'm working Monday-Wednesday. Then my spouse and I are off to Moab, Utah and hiking in Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. On my profile is a picture of me last Thanksgiving in Canyonlands. We hope to duplicate the photo, with me 110 pounds lighter. We're having Thanksgiving dinner at a lodge upriver on the Colorado River. It's very good, but a buffet. I plan to bring my knitting to work on while my husband has his 2 goes through the line We started the Moab tradition last year to get away from some weird family issues. It was great fun, so this year we're hoping for a repeat. Eileen

Work on Thurdsday and Friday...but only from 8a-12p. My mom is having a small get together on thursday evening Friday Ty and I are off to Atlantic City to visit my grandparents for the weekend. No shopping for me, I'm gonna give my mom a list...I just can't hang this year. No Patience at all!

Hi Kathy, I'm going to ski for the first time in 19 years- wow -I hope I don't break something. As far as food, I am going to try Susan Maria's technique of the three bite rule. If I do it successfully I can enjoy the holiday food some and yet not over do it. The holidays should be a challenge....Jane
