Huh? Wha? R U Sure? I dunt get it?
I don't believe it. I really don't.
I've worn a size 12 shoe since I was 14 years old and it didn't seem to matter much whether I was 170 to 250 or more - size 12. Last time I regained weight loss (2003), I found that some shoes were a bit tight so I found a pair of 12.5 sneaks (not easy to find) and had to resort to another sneaker size 13 and a pair of clogs size 13.
Well...today I wore a pair of size 12s and as I walked to the car they seemed loose. Got to work, same thing walking into work. Was discussing it with my office mate and she said "Wow you have alot of room at the back end of your shoe there."
I found a website where you can equate tape measurements to a shoe size. My foot measures 10.75 inches as traced on paper. They said to subtract .2 for the outlining of your foot. Well, that would put me at 10.55 inches. Based on their chart...a size 11 is 10.69 inches.
Huh? Wha? R U Sure? I dunt get it?
I've weighed less than this twice in my life...mid-20s and when again when I was 30 after yet another trip up the scale. How in the dickens do I get to an 11.
I've not been rooting in my closet through my shoes that obviously I hadn't been wearing last year since they were 12s and tight and now I may be an 11.
21 years of being a size 12. Perhaps gone? But not forgotten?
WEIRD!!!
Kathy
For years I was between a 9.5 and a 10 depending on the style of the shoe. Now I'm a 9-9.5! It's unreal! Before surgery I was measured and was 5 ft 5.5 inches tall. About a month ago, the same doctor measured me agan, and now i"m 5'6"! Im thrilled! It lowers my BMI!
Take Care,
Ashleigh
