And I gained .5 a pound...I'm not sweating it though because I had jeans on, so even though I didn't gain, I haven't lost in 6 weeks. She let me know that I need to jumpstart things, and the only way to do that is via exercise. I needed the kick in the a&$ though...I was sleeping on my tool for a minute, thinking it was an end all...Lets just say a lesson is learned!

Aliya, Great attitude. I really resisted regular exercise, because I just didn't like it. After 3 months of going to the gym 5 days a week at 5:30 in the morning, I can actually say I've become addicted to it! I never in a million years thought I would ever be saying that....woohoo! And I feel great too! Moving will make you feel good (after you get over the initial month or so when your body is rebelling.) But, it will be so worth it! Lori 384/274/170

You just gotta do it, Aliya. I don't think anyone could possibly hate exercise as much as I did, but I love it now and you will too. Seriously. Nothing I have ever eaten makes me feel better than the sense of accomplishment I feel after a rigorous workout and knowing that I DID IT! It's an emotional high that feels awesome. After a three mile power walk or 45 minute step aerobic class, I feel like I can conquer the world. The endorphin rush doesn't hurt either. Just start off slowly and build up from there. Over time, you will notice that you have more energy and you will be able to workout longer and with more intensity if you are consistent. Good luck! Hugs, Tracy

Aliyah, I have been taking Body Pump classes at the Y and I love it. It is available at lots of different studios other than the Y. Find one in your area if you can. Get moving! J

I'm with you Aliya, I know I need to exercise, but for some reason I can't get motivated again, I keep trying on the suit I bought in a 12 and it's still uncomfortably and unflattteringly tight. You would think that would motivate me. I literally have developed a complex about getting on the scale. I have weighed between 200.5 to 204lbs for the last month. I now find excuses why I won't get on the scale. I really wanted to get on the scale yesterday for my six month surgery anniversary, but I would probably have cried if it said 200 anything. Sorry to vent on your post.
