20 lbs to goal?!? Whoa! Now what I really wish is that I could decide where it would come from. I'd chose about 7 lbs from my belly. 4 lbs from each thigh. 2 lbs from my back (bra line long handles of sorts). 1.5 lbs from each cheek and I ain't talking about my face either. ( | ) And NOTHING I mean NOTHING else would come off my breasts. (.)(.) Kathy 276/244/180/160 (consult/pre-op/current/goal)

Congrats on your weightloss. I wish I only had to lose 116 pounds to get to my goal. I have lost 132 pounds and I still need to lose 48 to get to my doctor's goal. I would be happy if I lost about another 20 pounds, though. Sometimes those last 20 are the hardest to get off! Keep up the GREAT work! Stacy 346/214

Stacy, You are doing great! You'll get there! I expect this last 20 lbs to take quite a while. My weight loss has dropped off but I'm not concerned. I'll take whatever comes my way. If I stop here...I stop here. My husband lost 205+ lbs total after his surgery and has been maintaining for a while now. Kathy

Stacy, When was your surgery? You are doing just great!!! I know it's hard but we can't compare ourselves to each other, we all lose differently. My weight loss in the last 2 months has been very slow....just 21 lbs. We just have to hang in there! Sue McD

Other than utilizing a chain saw...I don't think I'll be able to control where I lose it from. If I could in a less invasive way, I'd be rich. Kathy (lap RNY 5/20/05) 276/244/180/160 (consult/preop/current/goal) 20 lbs to go! Hubby Rich (open RNY 8/4/04) 450/437/245/250 (consult/preop/current/goal) reached goal in 9 months and now maintaining!

Hey Kathy, thanks for the laugh. You brought us a chuckle at a good time. It's been a long day of yardwork and I was whining about the thorns winning when I cut back the rose bushes. (tore my hands up...thru gloves! ) So your cheery post was right on time. Congratulations on the progress. You are doing great. What a cool thing to be only 20 lbs. from goal! Thanks for sharing Rich's stats too. Tell him your Maysters send him a great big Hooray!!! What a terrific job. Bet it has been a wonderful journey with him at your side and the experience of wls you share. Mary P.S. a gal who is a massage therapist posted on the main boards the other nt. that if you are at a stall, a massage can start moving things again. I thought you's like to check it out because your plan to go Sat. to celebrate your B'day.

I actually started losing again several days ago. It was nice Friday not to write down the same number as the previous 3 weeks. I was down from yesterday this morning and yesterday was the massage. Interesting! I wish I could do a weekly massage and facial but to do that I'd have to hit the lottery. You gotta play to win! Kathy
