Hey, Masters!
How is it going on a Thursday evening?!?
Work was crazy today but productive. In fact, I'm working tomorrow. We have the option of saving the holiday leave. We have more stuff due tomorrow though the government folks won't be at work to receive it. So I'll be working. Believe me, with all the time off for doctor's appointments and tests...I need to conserve my time off. It is not looking like I'll be able to take much time off for the holidays.
Pain wasn't as bad today for some reason. Not going to think too much about it. I'll take what I can get, ya know what I mean?!
Wore a pair of size 12 pants (okay so they are stretch jean type pants - not denim though) today for the first time. A friend at work gave me three pairs. Yea!
The scale has started to slowly move again and I'm down to 181.5. I was tired of seeing 183 for the past 3 weigh-ins. I was patient though. Well, sorta.
Have a great evening!
Kathy
Kathy - my "evening" is going better then my day. I've been in my jammies since 6pm!!!! Had a long hard day. But tonight my 11 and 10 year old girls made me dinner. It was meatloaf, mashed potaoes (didn't have any), corn (none of that either) and pumpkin cake for dessert. They made it using canned pumpkin and splenda. I put a little dab of lite cool whip on the top and it was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took a little nap after dinner and now we're watching TV for a while before bed.
Just a lazy evening around the Griffith house!!!!!
Laurie
Laurie,
Sounds like a divine evening!
I switched to my now oversized Land's End sweats (gosh they look silly) but they are warm and comfy and I'm hanging out with the dog.
Rich is still at work keeping the traffic flowing on the streets of Washington DC and surrounding areas.
I'm going to start the oven and cook a piece of salmon with some pestobutter (soften butter and mix it half/half with pesto and put it in the fridge to reharden) and some green beans on the side. We buy a big piece of salmon and cut it into "kathy" portions and put them in baggies in the freezer...I just pop one into some tepid water and thaw it and pop it in the oven and in 15 minutes dinner.
Probably watch Survivor and CSI, etc tonight.
Have a great evening!
Kathy
