Six months today!

Today marks my half-year anniversary from surgery. So hard to believe that those days have gone by so quickly. In some ways it feels like such a short time ago, until I realize all the changes that have occurred in that time. During these months, I have not encountered one incident of nausea, or any sort of complication whatsoever from the surgery. I feel that I have been blessed. I am a "lightweight", starting with less than a hundred pounds to loose. I have lost 56 pounds since my surgery, and have 30-35 to go to my goal. I haven't weighed into those ranges in about 30 years! My pants are size 10's, and most of my tops are now mediums. I certainly can't remember the last time I could make that statement. I need to shop for some winter clothes, as my closet is now depleted of all the clothes I held on to forever in hopes that I could wear them once again. We are heading into new territory, and it feels great. I also want to thank all the other "posters" to this Board. You have provided encouragement and wisdom more times than you can imagine.

Congratulations! You said it right on, it's gone by quickly, hasn't it? We share surgery anniversaries. I, too, have had no (knock wood) complications, nausea, dumping, etc. I feel better than I have in years and years. Eileen
