Feel a bit virtuous...shhhh...I'm talking about exercise...
Haven't posted on my stair challenge in quite a while. I suspect that my side pain got in my way of doing it but I'm trying to work past that and keep doing what I need to keep my body active and fit.
So, here is today's activities...
Walked up from the 3rd floor to the 7th floor...that's 80 steps up. Then came down...that's 80 steps down. Did this four times this morning so that is 640 stairs.
Then, guess what? I did the same again this afternoon...so that's another 640 stairs.
So by my calculations that makes 640 stairs up and 640 stairs down for a total of 1280 stairs. Yeowza!
Next I came home and walked for 1.5 miles. Not at any particular pace either. Ended up chatting with someone walking her dogs for a while in the middle of my walk.
Later this evening, I'll get to the push-ups and upper body workout. I use 5 lb dumbells. Do curls for the biceps, triceps stuff, chest presses, arm rows , shoulder presses and things like that. Usually do about 50 each (or on each arm).
Now where is my dinner...
