Funny story...

Just thought that I would give you all a funny story this morning... I put on a dress to wear to work this morning and of course panty hose with dress shoes. Well, number one, the dress shoes were too big so my son and I had to stop at WalMart this morning and get me some new shoes. However, I didn't really pay much attention to my hose as I was walking around this morning. I just pulled out a pair I had which were a size 2XL and went on with my morning rushing around (my daughter didn't go to sleep until midnight so needless to say, it's been a rough morning for both of us ). Anyway, here comes the funny part. I'm sitting here at my desk working away and started another one of my coughing/sniffling fits (I have a terrible cold) so I got up to go to the restroom for some paper towels (since I sleepily forgot to bring my box of Kleenex to work). I stood up and my hose fell down to my knees (yep, white thighs were ablazing and nice tan calves were shining with a wad of panty hose gathered at my knees )!!! Luckily, there is only a conference room between me and the bathroom which was empty and the two guys that work in my cubicle section were not here yet. Fortunately, I also have a girdle thing on today so I went to the bathroom and tucked my hose into it which will hopefully hold them up until I can run get some new ones. Guess this weight loss surgery thing is working after all. Heather 267/186/160ish

Heather, Sorry you had the mishap, but what a wonderful problem to have. I LOVE it when I realize I need a smaller size. I often don't feel like I "look" a lot smaller, but times like that really do reinforce that WLS works! Congratulations! ~Wanda

That is too funny, Heather! We had someone from a vendor do a presentation to our HR department one day and...I am not kidding...her underwear dropped to her ankles. Only a few people saw and they just about died laughing afterwards. Wonder if she had WLS... hmmm... Kathy

From your story I couldn't help to be reminded of one of my most embarrasing moments. I was wearing a slip years ago under my skirt and guess it was a little big. I got out of the car to pay my rent at the office, and just as the lady opened the door my slip fell to my ankles. She just looked down and I tried to ignore it!! (they were having a christmas party inside, guess they all got a big laugh!!!) My kids were in the car and never let me forget that story!!
