Okay I live in Florida on the east coast -actually West Palm Beach and I say enough already with the hurricanes.I pray for everyone on the west coast. We have boarded up and we have our generators but this is crazy. Its strange I am a upstate New Yorker and its weird to hear my kids listen to the radio and get so excited when they cancell school for a hurricane!! It reminds me of when I was a kid and they said no school due to the snow. Please be safe everyone in the path -maybe it will fizzle out and weaken-We can only keep out fingers crossed.

I can't imagine living down south and having to deal with so many hurricanes in a single year! We have tornadoes up here, but not nearly as bad as what you guys have been experiencing. Please be safe! Becky

Thanks Becky !!! Went out early to fill up the extra car with gas but the 3 stations I went to were empty.I do have gas in some containers though.By the way I love your profile especially the fact that you totally have my favorite group on there .Not only is their music awsome but they are easy on the eyes if you know what I mean. This hurricane thing is totally crazy.I have lived in Florida since 1984 and had no issues until this past year.I guess you can say we have been very lucky.

Thanks! I've been thinking about doing some more sprucing to my profile, but I've been kind of lazy about it. Rascal Flatts is quickly becoming my favorite group - I just bought tickets to see them in concert in December. I'm so excited! Hope you find some gas somewhere and you ride out the storm with no trouble!

Well, it is already a category 2 which is far better than a category 5. I cannot fathom dealing with hurricanes. But I also cannot imagine dealing with landslides, severe flooding, tornados either. Good luck to you! Take good care! Kathy

Laura, Stay safe! Wilma looks to be quite a storm! I have several friends in Florida and the area sure has had it's share of strong storms in the last year or so. I too am from upstate New York (Buffalo) and had to deal with blizzards. I think I could deal with that better than a hurricane and high water. Take care and post after the storm has passed and let us know how you are. Your extended family on OH... Jean
