From the weather forecast...I think there is going to be more where the rain the past few days came from but I took some time to enjoy the cool morning and went for a long walk after my morning protein shake. Did 2.6 miles according to my handy-dandy pedometer. It was nice being outside in the solitude. (Rich is off doing the food shopping - a good man, indeed!)
It's going to be a chore day here at the old ranch. Got some bills to sort through, papers and papers and papers to file, clothing to look through, etc... Rich is going to fire up the crockpot with some pork chops (on sale at Giant) and some kraut - an old German fav. And he is also going to make some Hungarian Goulash so we'll be hooked up for food for the next several days. I love me a man that can cook (both his folks were chefs).
We'll probably watch some football this afternoon.
In other news...my Dad is out of the hospital. Got released on Friday morning. Bleed stopped and all is well. He and my sister went house hunting, Dad wants to downsize and he found his "dream" home. This is in Sun City Florida. He is in Temple Terrace (near Tampa) now. It is a 2 BR, 2 BA house with a big great room and kitchen and a den/computer room. Nice size piece of property but the homeowner's association fee covers lawn/shrub care (and basic cable too...LOL) And the previous owner is selling the golf cart and he'd be able to drive that down to the market if he wanted to - they have golf cart lane on the road. Go Dad! He made an offer so we'll see. The house he has now is too big for him and its older and more maintenance though he has put alot into the house - it has a pool and such. Just too much for him.
And my gallbladder removal surgery is Friday. Got my pre-op blood tests, EKG and chest x-ray tomorrow afternoon.
