Wow Moment!

Tonight we went to a surprise birthday party for a friend. She has a son who is 9 years old that I see at least once a week at church. When I walked into the party tonight he looked at me and said, "Ms. Wanda, you look like a different person! You are so skinny!" Mind you, I AM NOT skinny, but I was so touched that a 9 year old boy would mention the change and make me feel good. It's amazing who and what really makes your day! ~Wanda

Coming from a mother of a 10 year old boy, I'm telling you to keep that memory forever! 1) They rarely notice things like that and 2) They're rarely nobel enough to say things like that. All my son says is "Great, now you're gonna start wearing MY clothes!" when he noticed me sporting my DH's teeshirts...

Good for you Wanda. My 12 yr old son won't say much but my 15 year old is constantly telling me "Your looking good Ma" He does not like me to go out in public by myself. He is afraid someone is going to snatch me up.
