Pain in the Butt!
No, seriously, I have a pain in my butt!
On the main board, there's occasional posts from post-ops who complain about how their butts hurt because of all the lost padding. They say it hurts to sit in a tub, on a chair, etc. because the tail bone is sticking out. I used to LONG for the day when my big old azz what skinny enough to evince that kind of feeling!
Well, now, I'm getting a pain in my left butt cheek every time I sit down, unless it's something really soft like our over-stuffed recliner. Feels like someone's jabbing me with a pencil.
On one hand, I'm thrilled that not only does this butt of mine fit in a chair comfortably enough to share a seat with my two year old, but it's lost enough cushioning to HURT when I sit. On the other hand, I don't think I'm ready to be carrying around an inflatable donut...
Anyone else?
My new nick name is "bag of bones" and it's true. My butt hurts when I sit. Thank God I'm not going to football games any more this year! My back is boney, my chest is boney, I can see my ribs now, my arms are flabby and boney (is that an oxymoron?), my legs are still fat, but I'm getting to the bone there too.
I wonder how ppl who have always been skinny put up with this??!!

OMG! I was going to post the same thing today. I have been having major butt pain lately. It's both my tailbone and my pelvic bones that are bothering me. To make matters worse, my chair at work lost all padding while I was still heavy (my big butt squished all the cushion flat).
I'm trying to look on the bright side. I rather have a pain in the arse than to face death by obesity anyday!
Dear Becky Sue,
I'm sure this falls under the category of TMI, but there are other areas that are missing that "comphy padding". After a very zealous morning with my DH yesterday, my hip bones look and feel like I went 10 rounds with "Larry Homes" (heavyweight boxer for all you younguns).
They had their uses... But I really don't miss the "Fat Pillows"....

I too am experiencing the pain in the butt. Because of the cast on my foot I can't get up and move around as much as I was before I broke my foot. Yesterday I got up to go get a drink and the pain in my butt was so bad my knees buckled. Not a good feeling. But 85 pounds gone is so we put up with the good with the bad..
