Another poll.....
1. I'm not having any major hanging skin really. I'm just a little flabby in areas which have actually improved over time. I was really scared about my inner arms but over the last month they've taken some shape.
2. My inner thighs are also flabby and I would say worse than my arms but still not so terribly bad. I'm suprised that my tummy isn't so bad at all. It's actually shrinking nicely.
3. As far as plastics go, I'd like to see how things look as I lose the last 25 pounds (I'll be at goal) and go from there.
My doc says patients 30 and under who have not been overweight their entire lives don't have as many skin issues as others. My major weight issues started when I was about 21 (9 years ago). My best friend who had the surgery 4 years ago has a LOT of skin issues but she had almost 200 pounds to lose and I had less that 100. Guess that's a big difference. That and she has been severly obese most her entire adult and even childhood life.
I never thought I'd say this but I am consdering some kind of boob lift in the future! I had wonderful, lovely breasts and I don't like them anymore! Granted, I nursed two kiddos but I guess all the fat hid their sadness. Maybe a lift will be good for me because I'm kinda scared of putting something foreign in my body.
1. Are you having any issues with hanging skin yet?
Not really, my tummy is kind of soft, a little crepey- but it seems to be pulling back okay. I'll have to see what happens when I lose the rest of my weight. My girls are pretty flat and low, and I have bat wings, but not too bad. My thighs seem to be pulling back pretty well.
2. Where are you having the trouble (arms, legs, tummy)?
See above.
3. Do you plan on having any plastic surgery in the future?
I dunno. Considering I'm not having any problems yet, I don't foresee any problems in the future that would allow for any sort of insurance coverage. Anything I did would be purely for vanity reasons and come out of pocket. My "wish list," I guess, would include: breast lift and possible enlargement, abdominoplasty and maybe even arms, but like I said, so far, I'm not too worried about it.
1. Are you having any issues with hanging skin yet?
Oh, yes! Are you kidding?
2. Where are you having the trouble (arms, legs, tummy)?
Major bat wings, breasts look like tube socks hanging from my chest, lots of belly and thigh saggage.
3. Do you plan on having any plastic surgery in the future?
I plan on getting the works - practically a full-body lift: arms, boobs (tear-drop shaped silicone, if possible), inner and outer thighs, butt, and tummy w/ muscle tightening. Plus, I have a couple of moles on my face that I want to have removed. I will have to pay for it all.
Someone once said, "People will not think twice about dropping $25,000 on a car that they may drive one or two hours a day. You have to spend 24 hours per day in your own skin, so why scoff at the idea of making a similar investment in yourself?" I don't know who said that, it was probably a plastic surgeon! Anyway, I happen to agree with the logic.
1. Are you having any issues with hanging skin yet?
The skin on the back of my inner thighs looks a little like elephant skin.
2. Where are you having the trouble (arms, legs, tummy)?
I have some, movement I'll say, on the upper arms too! My tummy is not too terrible yet. I have a verticle c-section scar so it looks like I have a hind end on both sides!
3. Do you plan on having any plastic surgery in the future?
I'm sure I'll have some plastic surgery but it's a little too early to think about it. I believe they like your weight to be stabalized for awhile before they'll perform it. I figure a year from Jan or Feb, if not then the following fall to spring. I can't let anything interfere with golf season!

1. Are you having any issues with hanging skin yet? Yes, it's starting to hang all over!
2. Where are you having the trouble (arms, legs, tummy)? Mostly my upper arms and thighs, but I am recently noticing that my stretch marks on my stomach are all wrinkly and hangy too. My breasts are sagging too.
3. Do you plan on having any plastic surgery in the future? Most definitely!
