No Longer Super Morbid Obese

I started this journey at 385. At 5'7 my BMI was 60.3. SMO. Not a place I ever wanted to be. I weighed in last night and I am at 300. Which means my BMI Is now 46.9. Just Morbid Obese. I can see me shrinking away. It is a good feeling to be able to get dressed and not have to suck in my tummy, hold my mouth the right way and say 3 ancient chants to get my jeans buttoned. Each day still brings challenges but I am getting at least 2 meals a day of 1 to 2 oz and about 50 oz of fluid. There are still days that all I want to do is but they are getting less and less. Thank each of you for all your support through this process. And rememeber that the weight did not go on overnight and won't come off over night but it will come off. Kat

Oh, Kat... I wish you were having an easier time of it. But above it all you seem to always be able to see the blue sky through the clouds! Your weight is moving along wonderfully! Congrats on your loss thus far. Hugs, Kathy

I had 2 choices, Live with it or die from it. Kinda fond of living so have to make the best of it. THe weight is comming off, I only weigh every couple of weeks so that I don't stress over the scale. Thanks for the reply. Hugs, Kat

Hey Kat! You will never be Morbid to us!!!! I am so proud of your positive outlook, you are an inspiration to others who are having a rough time of it! I will pray that all will get easier for you soon! You are right, we can't expect it to come off overnite...but over the next few months will be great!!!!!

Aww Thanks honey. Yes I agree the more that comes off in the next few months the better. I have a goal of 100 total by my birthday in December. Should be obtainable. only 20 to go. Thanks for the note. Smiles, Kat
