I know a lot of you know im a truck driver. Well the driving area of an 18 wheeler has a lot more room between the drivers seat and the wheel, plus the wheel not only moves up and down, but in and out, so i have never had any problems fiting in certain trucks. But when it comes to cars, its been a different story. Its been 5 years since i could drive a car or van Until this past home time, i actually fit behind the wheel my van and with out it touching, WOW . I tell you it was a great feeling to be able to drive to see my 86 yr old grandfather myself. I have not seen him since my surgery, and since he helped lend me the money for my surgery, i really wanted to see him and let him know in person how i was doing and thank him. As of 9-22 im down 141 lbs started at 604 and at last weigh was 463. Oh i attended the walk from obesity in my area, and to my surprise i managed to walk the whole 3 miles with out stopping. woot joe

Joe, That is AWESOME! I know your grandfather had to be extremely proud when you visited him this weekend! Isn't it wonderful to feel and see the difference? I know that my stomach used to rub up against the steering wheel in my mini van. Now I have a few inches between me and the wheel. It's a terrific feeling! Congratulations! ~Wanda

Joe, Congratulations and continued success to you! By the way, many posts ago, you had mentioned a lasagna recipe. I tried it - I switched out the noodles for slices of eggplant. I had my whole family over for dinner. They LOVED it! They raved about it! Thanks Joe!!

That is awesome Joe. Congrats to you. I have actually had to move my seat forward in my car because I no longer have the bubble behind to push me forward. Enjoy your wow moment. Smiles, Kat
