Oh Happy Day!!!

Finally! After my post yesterday about "Groundhog Day" and that hard-headed scale not moving, I wake up this morning and I have lost 3 pounds. I doubted it so bad that I weighed 3 times in a row!!! I have to tell you I am so relieved that this has happened I was starting to get those old thoughts back in my head that I was failing and I would never lose another pound and probably start putting it all back on!! I know that sounds crazy but that is honestly how I was feeling. It is still so hard to realize sometimes that this is really happening. I am now in another size and its still hard for me to think like a thinner person. Oh! by the way, I had my first Pedicure yesterday at LA Nails! My daughter paid for it and she had a french manicure. That was the neatest thing I have ever had done! Not only did I get my crusty heels fixed...ewwww...I also got my feet massaged along with my back (loved the chair), and got my toe nails painted (they have never seen paint!), it was just such a treat. What I was thinking was maybe after they scraped all that heel crust off.....I lost those 3 pounds!!!!! Hope everyone has a beautiful Sunday!! Off to church!!

Isn't it funny how 3 little pounds can change our outlook on life?!?!?! I LOVE pedicures! I had my first one the week before my surgery. I figured if I was going to be lying in a hospital bed for a week, my feet were going to look nice cause the rest of me wasn't going to! Congrats on the 3 pounds. Hey Lisa, Wasn't the pedicure fabulous! I go to a place called LA Nails too! Congrats on those 3 pounds, I have regained my focus again, and lost 3 as well. Finally got my protein in after it was held up for 3 weeks, so I am back on the You have a great Sunday as well!
