Mayster's Weekend Plans

We're going to Ohio tomorrow for a birthday party. My sister-in-law has twin foster babies and they turned one this week. Sunday, we're supposed to be going up to the UP to pick up a bike. Aaron bought it off of EBAY after I urged him on, only to find out that yes, it's in Michigan, but about 5-6 hours away... Grooooaaannnn... Still not sure if I'm going to make that trip with him or if one of his buddies will go instead. I guess I'll just wait and see how I feel. Definately share that SF Cheese cake recipe - It's fall, it's getting chilly, and I'm getting into the baking mood but I have to find all new WLS-friendly recipes!

We tore our kitchen out this week- walls and all, so this weekend will consist of ordering windows, planning, selling appliances, etc. We might ride our bikes to the harbor tomorrow, just to get out of the house. We'll watch movies and recover at night. I'm hoping we can actually go to the movies and maybe dinner tomorrow night on a date. DH leaves Tuesday for Hawaii for 8 days, so we need to pack for him, too.

Hmmm, well I haven't caught a yard sale in forever it seems so if I get up early enough I might be lucky enough to catch a few. After that, we will watch my UT Longhorns beat the Missouri Tigers and after 5 my sister will celebrate her 40th. Sunday is our family day of rest and relaxation. No plans! Woo hoo.

Well, I am responding to this a little late! This is Saturday already but last night I had 11 people in my home for a Mexican Fiesta! My DH aunts are here from out of town with their hubbys. Everything was so delicious I was told, didn't eat much of it myself. I tried some new recipes. the "Cheesy Onion Rollups" went over like crazy and all are gone. Too spicey for me. Also I made the "Best Nacho Dip Ever" and it must have been because their is only about a cup left. Also made homemade Guacomole, one spicey one regular and my normal Tacos. Made three different types of shells so as to give everyone a taste of each. All in all in went well, was very tired last night though!! Today I am waiting for my DH to get home from work at 2:00 so he can stay here with our little one so I can go shopping with my daughter, just kind of a girls day out. Then probably just veg. tonight. May visit the Baptist Church again tomorrow thats down the road. We are having beautiful weather right now, so Im off to paint some more of the outside of my house!!!!!! Have a great weekend everyone!
