Gallbladder update..the saga continues..
My sonogram last Friday was normal. And now I get to go for a HIPA scan this coming Tuesday. It is a nuclear medicine study of the contractions of said gallbladder. They shoot you up with radioactive stuff and scan ya. Then they give you something called CCK (or is that CKK). That stuff makes the body react like you just ate something fatty. Then the fun begins as they watch your gallbladder respond.
I can tell you how it responds... It gives me pain! LOL!
Today I feel like I'm having increased GB pain. It is far from horrendous...probably a 2-3 on a scale of 10. Anyway, I'm not thrilled.
I guess I'll know one way or the other soon enough.
Kathy

Hi there Kat, what's up with your ulcer? Are you feeling any better? I have been praying for you and looking for your posts. It sounded very serious. Will you have to have another endoscopy to check the progress?
Is food staying down more?
Bless ya gal, Mary

Hi Kathy, Been wondering how you were coming along with the gall bladder issues.
Hope you feel better soon. I had similar pain a few yrs ago and had it removed. Not full of stones but completley lined with little polyps...they were causing all the pain.
Congrats on the 4 lb. drop. Yeah !
Mary
