Anyone else from May with hair loss?

Mine just started a few days ago and it's freaking me out! Granted it's not clumps at a time but there is far more than normal falling out when I shampoo. Hey how much does hair weigh anyhow? Maybe I will lose another pound??

Mine hair loss started over a month ago (but I lost 32 lbs prior to surgery so I've been steadily losing weight since mid-Feb). Anyway, I've had this happen once before when I lost weight following Weigh****chers. Lost 65 lbs in 7-8 months and my hair fell out. It lasted a couple of months and then started growing back in. I've been losing hair for the last month. Each time I wash my hair, a little clump falls out. I can't really tell it much when I fix my hair, but it's really obvious when I finish each shower. I'm hoping it quits in the next 30 days or so! ~Wanda

My hair is falling out like crazy!!! I keep worrying that if it keeps up at this consistancy that I'll be bald in no time...I know thats not going to happen, but at times it feels like it...I hope it stops soon....Anyone know of anything I can do to slow the process or something?

Hello- My hair started falling out on May 19th thats when I got home. Surgery was May 13th. So Its been coming out in handfuls. I have at least a handful a day coming out. I had really really thick hair before now its still thick. I wonder if my hair dresser will notice I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow at 1. Some comes out in the shower which clogs the drain quick if i don't throw it away and then more when I comb my hair. I dunno how much it weighs. LOL Can't be that much. Mine was falling out slowly but when I hit 4 months - I was losing a lot! It seems to have slowed down a bit, and it isn't noticable to anyone else. I have been taking GNC Hair Skin & Nails tablets since surgery, and I am continuing to take them. I don't know if they help, but they certainly can't hurt!

I'm like everyone else, just started losing hair the last three weeks and it a MESS!!! Ive started taking Zinc....haven't see results yet. Keep us posted if you find something that works.

Mine started about a month ago- but has slowed down since I started taking prenatal vitamins and using Nioxin shampoo.

How long until we are back to normal. I have really thin hair as it is and my hair feels fried. I tried shopping for wigs,but they don't look to good on me. Oh woe is me!!!!!!!!!!! Rosie

Yeah mine started after my emergency surgery in June. But in the last month it has been coming out in handfuls. I am just hoping that it stops soon. I have been taking hair, skin and nail vitamins since I got off the feeding tube in July but wonder if they are actually doing anything. Dawn
