Surgery!

Yup you guessed it all....since my hernia is so painful now I have no choice but to have it repaired ASAP. I will be going in on October 4th(next Tuesday) to have it done. I am more nervous about this than I was about the RNY! NO clue why! Just thought I would update everyone. Time to go feed the kids!!! Hiya hun. Thanks for worrying...Im sorry Im makin everyone worry! But i think like someone said to me it is because I have no choice about this. The pain intensifies everyday and i cant wait for it to be fixed and for me to be on the road to losing more again. I will make sure they feed me right or else they will have one sick woman on their hands and I dont think my dr will be too thrilled if they get me puking right after hernia repair! hahaha hugsssssssss krista

Hey Krista, HUGS I'm with ya... my surgery is the following Tuesday the 11th... for my hernia repair. I am feeling the same as you. I think it's because we chose to have the RNY.. we have no "choice" but to do this surgery! Please stay in touch and keep me posted! Take care Marla

Hey marla... sorry it took me so long to respond. I have been suffering with this pain something awful. They gave me some warning signs to look for and if any of them occur I will be going in sooner. This pain is unbelievable!! I hate that it hurts so much! It is like this burning stabbing pain. ughhh anyway! Hi Lori That is what worries me, infection after. and the fact that he might have to use mesh to put my muscle wall back together if it is too weak. he said sometimes the mesh gets infected and that is another surgery to remove it. So i will follow all instructions to the letter! I dont wanna go thru any more surgery unless it is elective! no more of this ASAP stuff I have no say in!!! hugssssssssss krista
