Exercise anyone?!

I was just wondering what everybody is doing for exercise.I have been riding my bike (stationary) and walking every night .I have lost 62 pounds as of this week but I feel maybe I should bump up the exercise more.I am really pleased on my weight loss.Its so crazy when I walk by the mirror sometimes I have to walk by again to make sure its me.Total wow

I go to the gym 3 to 6 days a week and I try to alternate lower and upper body weights 3 days a week and then I either get on the elliptical or the stationary bike for an additional 20-40 minutes. On the other days I do 1 hr on the elliptical or bike. I'm just behind you in weight loss. My surgery was 05/23 and I'm down 58.7 lbs. It sounds like you are doing ok. Just mix it up if you hit a plateau. Good job on your weight loss

I do the gym 5-6 days/week (I was doing 7, but my Wednesdays are so busy I'm literally at home for about 1 hour between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.) and I do 20-40 minutes of cardio (either bike or elliptical machine) and alternate upper and lower body weights. I'm down (as of today with my trainer) from 340 at my consult, 326 my surgery date to 250 - so 90 pounds from the consult and 76 from my surg. date. I am also down 41.25 inches. That's amazing. I go to water aerobics M W F and walk on my treadmill 2-3 times a week for at least a mile. I want to start doing some weight lifting soon. Build up these flabby arms!

Laura, I was walking for 50 mins a day 4 days a week outside (but, I've had to move that to the gym). I do 3 days a week of strength training at the gym. I also try to attend 1 water aerobics class per week. It really has speeded up my weight loss in the last 6 weeks. Lori 384/294/170
