Happy Monday Morning!
Good Morning Mayers!
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend.Boy, I tell you, I have been non stop since my surgery. I don't know if it is because my energy level has increased or what, but I am constantly Now that I am back from KY, and I have my son settled with school, I finally feel as if I can focus. My family had a wondeful b-day party for me on Sat, and I feel like that was truly the culmination of my summer...and a fabulous one it was.
So on this Monday morning, I am going to slow down, and FOCUS, I am only 47 pounds to goal, and there are some things I need to do to make that happen.
Today I WILL:
Walk 1 mile
Intake 60 g of protein
Meet all vitamin goals
Drink 80 ounces of water
How about you? What will YOU do today?
I'll go home and take the dog for a walk. Unfortunately she is slowing down (heck, she is 17.5 years old - she is entitled to show some age - finally) so I cannot take her for long walks like I used to. Once she is taken care of, I'll go for a long walk of my own for exercise.
I'll also do my push-ups, sit-ups and do my arm workout.
I'll have 3 protein shakes/supplements. One down already.
I'll have 3 meals that are protein focused.
I'll get all my vitamins in.
I'll get at least 60 oz of pure water in (well, as pure as it gets being filtered or bottled).

Dear Kathy,
I'd be happy to loan you my puppy. (One year old sheppard mix pound puppy). After surgery I made it a point to walk him 2 miles every morning at 6:30 am. Once you get a dog in that kind of regiment, they have no sympathy. Weekends, vacation days, illness, it doesn't compute. As soon as I get up in the morning to hit the bathroom, the brat jumps into my spot on the bed and whines at me until I get my track suit on. If I try to bring him back short of 2 miles the stubborn mule won't go up the driveway to the house. He plants his but at the on the street and gives me "the look" that says "who do you think you're kidding?"
I've created a monster... But he's the most reliable fitness coach I've ever had.
Here's to our four footed fury friends. Unconditional Love and no pity what-so-ever.
