1.) How has the weight loss been going? (start/current/goal) Any stalls? Plus a little background! Name/Age/height/etc... Hi, I am Kathy. I started out at 283 and now I am down to 217. I am 5'5 and would love to be a size 10. I plateau all the time. I had one in July one in August and one in September.... 2.) How is the protein, vitamins, water, etc... I am slacking on vitamins, but am trying to get my butt back in gear with them. I eat lots of turkey, fish and chicken. I love fruit and I drink atleast 60 oz. of water a day. 3.) clothes sizes? Before/now/goal For the women, sorry men, how about bra sizes? I was a tight 26 before. Now I am a baggy 20. I want to be a 10. I had to go buy new bras the other day, I grew tired of stuffing my old ones. I went from a busty D to a sad C. I may need a B here soon... 4.) Any goals reached? Recent or not so recent. I can sit indian style on my office chair now. 5.) Any upcoming goals? We did this a little over a month ago, but some may have new ones and met some! I hope to be a size 16/18 before I go to Virginia next month to visit my 2 best friends! I havent seen one of them since right after my surgery and the other one I havent seen in a year so I hope to shock them both with my progress. 6.) Any sickness or etc... 2 weeks out - I was dehydrated and severely malnourished, I was rehospitalized for 2 days. I vomit when I eat no-no's (bite of ice cream really messed me up) I only dump orally. I have constipation issues that I am still working on, and nothing seems to kick start my bowels! lol TMI, I know! 7.) Any addition information is welcome!! I recently became a Pure Romance Consultant and had my first show last night! I had 20 women come and I was NERVOUS! I set a personal sales goal and reached it and then some! It felt great to be in front of all these women and not feel like they were judging me by my size. I was also really glad that I wasnt knocking over my display with my former big butt... with that many women in one room, space was limited! Kathy

Started at 294 and then went down to 277 on surgery day. I've been stalled for the past month or so (eating too much bread, carbs). 2.) How is the protein, vitamins, water, etc... Trying on the protein - getting in around 40gms day; vitamins 2xday; water only about 30 oz day. 3.) clothes sizes? Before/now/goal For the women, sorry men, how about bra sizes? Started out 28/30 and 48D. Am now in a size 18 and 44C. Actually tried on a pair of size 16 jeans at Kohls last week (yahoooooo). 4.) Any goals reached? Recent or not so recent. My main goal is to get under 200lbs (slowly approaching). Hope to reach my goal by Christmas. Came off blood pressure medications 5.) Any upcoming goals? We did this a little over a month ago, but some may have new ones and met some! My only upcoming goal is to get under 200 lbs and to buy a pair of jeans with a zipper (not elastic) 6.) Any sickness or etc... Not really any sickness (only about 3 times, probably from overeating).

Hi May Babies! I don't post here much but do read once or twice a week... here's my answers! C h e e r s, gene 1.) How has the weight loss been going? (start/current/goal) Any stalls? Plus a little background! Name/Age/height/etc... ***Loss has been going mostly well... though I seem to have stalled to about a pound every week or so... I'm trying not to whine too much about it and working on getting everything going as I should... expecially exercise... I suck at that! 2.) How is the protein, vitamins, water, etc... ***Protein and vitamins are pretty simple for me... the water part sucks... I just don't care about drinking. Even when I'm sitting the with a dry mouth and a cold bottle of aquafina in my hand I don't drink! And remember, nothing tastes as fresh and cleana as a sparkling bottle of aquafina - so that's saying something. 3.) clothes sizes? Before/now/goal For the women, sorry men, how about bra sizes? ***at least I don't need a bra now! Before surgery I was in a 44 pants and now am 32-34 depending on the make. Shirts I was in a XXX before surgery and now in mediums and larges. It's so nice to be able to shop anywhere. I'm also getting use out of a lot of old clothes that I grew out of! 4.) Any goals reached? Recent or not so recent. ***My original weight goal was for 175... I'm there now, but my surgeon and I both think I should be able to get to 160ish... so I'm still pluggin away. I'm aiming for 150 for my personal goal.. I don't know if I'll ever get that or not! 5.) Any upcoming goals? We did this a little over a month ago, but some may have new ones and met some! ***Just to get on track with exercise and drinking! 6.) Any sickness or etc... *** Nope... only when I eat to much or too fast! I don't like chicken or lunch meats... only beef, and my surgeon doesn't want me eating beef before 6 months... that's one thing I've not followed! 7.) Any addition information is welcome!! *** I really feel lost about what to eat - how many calories to aim for and all that. I'm still mostly living on cottage cheese, yogurt, and string cheese, with a bit of tuna, steak, and shrimp thrown in here and there.

I am now 278 and my goal is 170. I did just come out of a stall of about 6 weeks no loss of pounds but did lose inches I believe. Not complaining at all as I believe I am doing ok. Slow and steady but ok 2.) How is the protein, vitamins, water, etc... I do not get enough protien but am working on it everything else I am doing ok I have my days of not getting it in but very few and far between 3.) clothes sizes? Before/now/goal For the women, sorry men, how about bra sizes? I wore at least 32 34 and mans 3x sweat pants were the only thing I would wear. Now I am in a 24 JEANS to cool!! As far as bra size I really don't know as I wear sports bras and have lost my boobs didn't have them to begin with. I have lost from the top down. 4.) Any goals reached? Recent or not so recent. I am under 300 next goal is to be under 250 5.) Any upcoming goals? We did this a little over a month ago, but some may have new ones and met some! I would like to be under 250 I am sitting at 278 and hope to be under by christmas. 6.) Any sickness or etc... I was in the hospital about 3 weeks ago with severe chest pains. They found nothing with my heart and nothing showed up on lungs but the doctor worried about a very tiny blood clot that wasn't seen. I am on blood thinners for how long is anyones guess. 7.) Any addition information is welcome!!

Bio - Jenny A/41/5'6/Employed full-time, married and mom to PJ (14) & Megan (12) Weight loss - 292/214.5/150. I haven't had any unaccountable stalls. I have been losing 1 poud a week the last couple of weeks, but I know that is because of food choices. I seem to be able to eat just about anything, so I have to work on head hunger and conscious/conscientious eating. 2.) How is the protein, vitamins, water, etc... I am very good about vitamins and water. If I didn't supplement, I would problably just be making protein minimums. 3.) clothes sizes? Before/now/goal For the women, sorry men, how about bra sizes? I have gone from a 24 and 2x/3x to 18 and XL. I don't really have a clothing size goal. Bra size started at 42DD and I think I'm now about a 38D. I have lost 9" off my bust, and 10" each from my waist & hips. 3" from my bicep, 4.5" from my thigh and 1.5" from my calf. 4.) Any goals reached? Recent or not so recent. Biked a 30 mile trek around St. Paul 2 weeks ago. 5.) Any upcoming goals? We did this a little over a month ago, but some may have new ones and met some! To see onederland by Halloween (5 weeks from today) 6.) Any sickness or etc... Nothing! J

1.) How has the weight loss been going? (start/current/goal) Any stalls? Plus a little background! Name/Age/height/etc... Cindy - 48 years old - 5' 6 1/2" My highest weight was 331 pounds. Pre-surgery=299, current=227, and goal=160. And I've had plenty of stalls! This is the longest plateau I've been on. I've been at 227 for about 3 weeks. I think that's why I started reading the message board again - to get ideas on how to "jumpstart" again. 2.) How is the protein, vitamins, water, etc... I'm good about getting vitamins and protein, mostly because my body tells me when I need something. Water, on the other hand, is so hard to do. But if I count the carnation instant breakfast, then I do get my 64 ounces of fluids - it's just no****er. 3.) clothes sizes? Before/now/goal For the women, sorry men, how about bra sizes? I was a 28/30 before surgery. I'm now wearing size 18 pants and XL tops. Bra size hasn't changed much - and I guess that's good. Went from a 44DD to a 42D. 4.) Any goals reached? Recent or not so recent. I can cross my arms over my chest. I went rock climbing! I can sit cross-legged. I rode my bike downtown. I can paint my toenails. 5.) Any upcoming goals? We did this a little over a month ago, but some may have new ones and met some! I am registered to walk in my first 5K on Oct 23rd. I don't care if I come in last - I'm just hoping I can finish. And I really do want to reach One-derland soon. 6.) Any sickness or etc... Just low blood pressure (can you believe it?) - it causes me to get very dizzy and light headed. And I did have a stomach flu in June. Three of the worst days in my life. I couldn't eat or drink anything. 7.) Any addition information is welcome!! I can feel bones that I never knew I had!

How is the protein, vitamins, water, etc... going really well. really want to get better about my calcium, so i ordered the chewable calcium that's cinnamon flavored. 3.) clothes sizes? Before/now/goal For the women, sorry men, how about bra sizes? Was in a 24, just got into a 14 this morning!!! Bra was a 42 d, and now i'm in a 36 B (needing an A, but I'm in denial!) 4.) Any goals reached? Recent or not so recent. reached under 200 lbs, under 190, and my goal of 50 lbs lost. Can't wait to meet my total weight loss of 75 lbs (sitting at 74 right now - whi*****ludes pre and post op) 5.) Any upcoming goals? Was wondering how everyone in May was doing. So I thought I'd ask a few ?'s 1.) How has the weight loss been going? (start/current/goal) Any stalls? Plus a little background! Name/Age/height/etc... Dawn B. I am 36 turn 37 on Oct. 16th, 5'7" and married with a 7 year old daughter, Taylee. I started this 2nd wls journey at 241 lost 13 pds preop and now weigh 179. My goal weight is between 130-140 lbs. 2.) How is the protein, vitamins, water, etc... I do great with vitamins, take 2 multivitamins daily. Skin, hair and nails vitamins 2 times daily. 2 chewable calicum citrates daily and 1 sublingual B12 daily. I do close to 64 oz of water or fluids daily. Protein is where I have slacked off......waiting for my order to come in from bariatriceating.com LOL 3.) clothes sizes? Before/now/goal For the women, sorry men, how about bra sizes? I was wearing a size 18 W preop and I am down to 12-14 jeans and size L shirts. Bra wise I was wearing a 42 D preop and I am down to a 38 C(probably going down to a B soon....waaaaaaa)! 4.) Any goals reached? Recent or not so recent. To be able to walk without feeling shortness of breath.....not having to take a nap daily. Actually having energy and keeping up with the younger college girls! 5.) Any upcoming goals? We did this a little over a month ago, but some may have new ones and met some! I would love to be down to a size 8 by Christmas......and I plan on walking in the St. Louis Half marthon next April. 6.) Any sickness or etc... Well, I had a rough start after surgery....read my profile for details. But since then I have done really well. I am off all medications....even my asthma meds! I have had a couple of dumping episodes but besides that doing great! 7.) Any addition information is welcome!! I am just glad to be alive.......this was my 2nd chance at WLS and I am vowing not to have to have another WLS surgery again. Plastics are another story......!!!!
