Vicki, You did things over a few years...I've decided (well, I didn't decide) to do it all in one year! Back surgery 3/31, WLS 5/20 and perhaps gallbladder surgery in October? I am tough - thanks! It's the NYer in me. Thanks, hon! Kathy

I had a lap chole (gall bladder surgery) 12 years ago and was lying on my abdomen the night of the surgery. It's EASY!! Hopefully you won't have to have it done, but if you do - you'll be just fine! Michelle

Thanks, Michelle! Good to know that it isn't that bad! I didn't think so. I did fine with my back surgery and my WLS so I figured heck what is one more surgery. LOL! Kathy

I had problems with my gallbladder for about 6 years especially when I would eat something really greasy and heavy late at night. My surgeon was going to remove it during surgery but 2 weeks before surgery I had an attack after eating a peanut butter sandwhich, oh my god I thought I was going to die. I hurt for like 7 hours trying to make the pain go away before going to the ER. The funny thing was they did all the tests and ultrasounds and everything looked fine. The only other option was to go in and look at it with surgery and yep I had two stones. So good thing you are doing something about it now because thats the worst pain. I was feeling great the next day. Virtually no pain. Just feels like youve done a gazillion situps. Best of luck to you Kathy, Candy
