New Orleans Meet & Greet

Hi everyone, Just wanted to check in again and see who thinks they may be able to make it to New Orleans with us in November. You should be able to book rooms now (sorry for the earlier issues). I have booked my room and just wanted to see if anyone else has done so. If you have can you let me know, just trying to get an idea of who is coming. Below is the info: Each guest should call 888-627-7033 identifying themselves as being with the OH Mayer's Group. She said you will need a credit card to guarantee the room but no charges will be incurred until you arrive. The hotel website is www.sheratonneworleans.com if you want to check out the facilities, we will be arriving Friday November 18th and checking out Sunday November 20th. Cant wait to meet everyone! Hey Did you get my email... Hey girl, whats up, we still rooming, I was thinking if like 2 other single chicks are going, we could make it one big slumber party...but some people might be coming with significant others/friends, or some people may just want their own room. I visited the website...I can hear the music and taste the food!

Sounds good, but guess we may have to scratch the whole idea, will call her this week to see what is going on.

Cary.......are you kidding me? Thousands are going to die in the next 48 hours. There will not be a New Orleans in 24 hours, and I doubt they will be able to rebuild it by November. God speed for New Orleans and everyone directly affected. This is going to be horrible. Carrie

Carrie - I thought about this get together too when I was just reading about the devastation that's about to hit New Orleans. I do think you folks might want to choose another location. New Orleans could be many months at the minimum just getting back to life, to say anything of entertaining tourists again. My prayers are with those down there too.

Im sorry guess I don****ch the TV much didnt really realize what was going on. I had to sign a contract with the hotel to get the price and rooms blocked out so not sure if we can change the location, I will have to check. Guess we will have to see how things turn out.
